Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide,

The following question was asked by

What count is better for 6 decks (KO or high low)?

Dear Petrofos,

The KO narrowly edges out the High Low in 6 deck games. Here are betting and playing efficiencies as reported by John May in Get The Edge in Blackjack.

High Low – Play (0.51), betting (0.97) and Insurance (0.76)

KO - Play 0.54), betting 0.98), and Insurance 0.78).

Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide,

The following question was asked by

---------------------------------
Where are the best one and two deck games in vegas?
---------------------------------

Best regards,
The "Ask the Pro" Staff

<>

Dear Petrofos,

The best single deck game is at the Horseshoe casino. The best double deck games ($25 or less minimum bets) are at the Bellagio, Mirage, Bally’s, Frontier, Hyatt Lake Las Vegas, Las Vegas Hilton, Monte Carlo, Riviera, Stardust, and Treasure Island.

Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide,

The following question was asked by

---------------------------------
Dear Sir:
I suspicious a sentence in Basic Playing Strategy of http://blackjack.BJInsider.com/
"If the dealer hits soft 17, then double down on 11 against dealer's ace"
Could you explication it more clearly.
Thank you !!

Best regards,
The "Ask the Pro" Staff

Dear Taipei,

Normally in multiple deck games where the dealers must stand on soft 17 you would double down on 11 only when the dealer shows a 10 or less upcard. Against the dealer’s ace you would hit. However, in games where the dealer must hit soft 17, the dealer is less likely to end up with a 17 and more likely to bust. Therefore against the dealer’s ace you are better off doubling on 11 and rather than hitting.

The following question was asked by

---------------------------------
What is the best source to find out which casinos have the best rules in Las Vegas?
---------------------------------

Best regards,
The "Ask the Pro" Staff

Dear Kurtrkessler,

There are several sources. You can subscribe to either Stanford Wong’s Current Blackjack News (www.bj21.com) or Arnold Snyder’s Blackjack Forum magazine (www.rge21.com). Another way (which is free) is to subscribe to Blackjack Insider newsletter and check out Captain John’s Vegas report each month where he summarizes where some of the best games are located.(www.BJInsider.com).
