CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

During our lifetime we are often entrusted with sensitive information from friends, family members, or co-workers and told not to reveal the information under any circumstance. When we do this, we gain the respect of the source. If you pass the "test," they will look upon you as a stand-up person, who can be trusted if ever needed. Call it a "test of your character," but somehow this trait can actually be used in the new and exciting "Elimination Tournament Blackjack."
Now Iím not saying that if you are a stand-up person, you will automatically achieve success in "Elimination Tournament Blackjack." This trait might help you with some of the New York/New Jersey "Wise Guys" that we hear about, read about, and whose lives are glamorized over and over again on TV and the big screen. They love "Stand-Up" guys, but in Elimination Blackjack Tournaments, you need more than that to succeed.
Now what Iím about to tell you will help you gain success in the new elimination tournament format that all experience players are just starting to sink their teeth into. Some of the top tournament players have had to readjust their game to include all the new wrinkles of this new format. In the December issue of BJI, I told you that to achieve early success in a round you should have as many players as you can in your "Rear View Mirror" before the elimination hands. That advice will help you survive elimination hands 8,16, and 25, where the player with the lowest bankroll is sent packing.
Another tool that I intentionally left out of my article last month that will help you survive these crucial elimination hands is the "Secret Bet."
