A tap on the shoulder, followed by, "Sir, would you come with me?"
Those are the words that strike fear into an advantage player. You can deal with, "Sorry, sir, youíre too good for us, no more blackjack." Just get up, cash your chips, and leave, thankful that you donít have to deal with the backroom, production of an ID, or anything worse. Maybe even return at a later date.
But "would you come with me?" is serious. They might read you the trespass act, ordering you to never return to the property. They might ask you for identification, for purposes of making the trespass order more official, or for purposes of circulating your name and photo to other casinos. They might order you off the property, without an opportunity to cash your chips. They might take you to the back room and detain you for God-knows-how-long. In extreme cases, they might even seize your chips, arrest you, and charge you with a crime. What can they legally do? And what should you do?
