This month I want to discuss what is probably the most overlooked concept involved in playing winning Texas Hold’em. That is your position at the table during a hand.
There is an adage that says "The Key to success in Business is Location, Location, Location". Well to paraphrase that saying "The key to success in Texas Hold’em is "Position, Position, Position." Yet the majority of the newer players and some of the older ones either have no idea about the importance of position or they simply choose to ignore it. Before we even start to discuss starting hands you need to understand the importance of position.
