Just when you thought there really aren’t many places left to be dealt a fair game of blackjack in Las Vegas, I found it. First, you’d better jump in your rental car or grab a cab or bus and head on down to Freemont Street cause this game is downtown and not on the Strip. Old Las Vegas has returned and in a very big way. I tip my hat to the three new owners who have taken over the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas Club, and the Plaza all located on good old Freemont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. These new owners have decided to deal blackjack like it use to be dealt and played in the good old days.

This is a gaming business not a "let me see how dumb my customers are" and "how much I can fleece them by paying 6/5 on blackjack," such as what’s being done right now at the Horseshoe. The Horseshoe use to be Old Las Vegas but not anymore. Benny Binion would be turning over in his grave if he could see what Harrah’s (the new owners) has done to his place. Enough of this. Let me tell you where you can find the real Old Las Vegas and their good blackjack games.
