I've spent thousands of hours at the blackjack tables. Along the way I've seen every one the game's 340 different basic hands come up countless times each. Some of them are easy to play the right way and others can be pretty tricky. But throughout my travels, there seems to be a cluster of the same few hands among those 340 that nearly everybody consistently misplays.
Wherever I go -- Vegas, Atlantic City, Tunica, Foxwoods, you name it -- the players' faces are different, but their mistakes remain the same. And the shocking thing is, experienced gamblers who consider themselves to be good blackjack players blow these plays.
