Last month, we reviewed Joker Poker Kings or Better video poker. This month we look at Joker Poker Two Pair or Better games.

In Joker Poker, five-of-a-kind hands get paid a bonus. As with other wild card video poker games, the pays for normal hands such as four-of-a-find, full house, flush, etcetera are reduced since they are easier to make. Because Joker Poker has only one wild card rather than the four wild cards in deuces wild, the pay table includes pays for a pair of kings or better as the lowest pay rather than three-of-a-kind. A straight flush pays 50-for-1 like most Jacks or Better games. Also, two pair is a paying hand in Joker Poker

Joker Poker Two Pair or Better

Another version of Joker Poker that is relatively common in Two Pair Joker Poker. In this version the lowest paying hand is two pair. There are also several changes to the pays on other hands compared to Kings or Better. The natural royal flush pays 1000-for-1 instead of 800-for-1. Five-of-a-kind pays 100-for-1 instead of 200-for-1. A wild royal flush pays 50-for-1 instead of 100-for-1. Some of the lower paying hands have increased pays. Overall, the return and variance is close to the 18/7 Kings or Better Joker Poker game.

This is the only version of two pair Joker Poker presented in this article. If the reader cannot find this pay table, the game probably is not worth playing. This version has a nearly 100 percent return with a moderate variance. Notice that a wild royal flush and a straight flush pay the same. Because of that, the following strategy chart will use the term "RS Flush" to mean any straight flush including a royal flush. This term is only used in this strategy chart. Here is the simplified strategy for Two Pair Joker Poker....
