LAS VEGAS BLACKJACK REPORT:
JPB has been playing blackjack and counting cards part-time since 1996. He plays throughout the country but primarily in Missouri. In December 2011, I ventured to Las Vegas after over a year absence. My plan was to play "hit and run". I have already been blacklisted by most of the casinos- MGM, Harrahs, Station, Coast, and so I do not give a playerís card and try to make every stay short. Because of the latter, I go ahead and play double-deck games. If I were planning several trips or more per year, I would consider playing more six-deck games because they are watched less closely for card counters, and the casinos are slower to assume a wide bet spread equals counting cards.
On my recent trip, I visited the following 13 casinos. In my 15 years of traveling to Las Vegas, the tables were the least crowded I have ever seen them.
