A recent discussion on the forums at BlackjackTournaments.com involved a particular hand that I think is worth examining closely. The situation at first appears a little confusing, at least until you think about it in the right way. Then the appropriate play seems clear. The scenario involves the final hand of a round where only one player will advance. Betting limits are $5 to $300, and no surrender is allowed. The bets have already been placed and the cards have been dealt.
