First let me define what I mean by "low-stakes." Iím talking about a minimum bet of $25 or less. If you are a low stakes counter, thereís good news Ďcause there are plenty of decent games in and around Vegas where you can play with a respectable edge. Iíll review where these games are, and then give you some tips that I use to stay under the casino radar.
First off, donít expect to find many good low-stakes games on the Strip. Yes, there are some, but the minimum bets on these games are usually $50/$100 and up. The best games for low stakes counters are located in the localís casino.
Personally, I wonít sit and play unless the game has at least 60% penetration for double deck (thatís 1.2 decks dealt), and 75% (4.5 decks dealt) for six decks. I also wonít play a six-deck h17 game unless it has very deep penetration. Actually, I prefer to play double-deck games (but it must offer das).
