BEST GAMES IN VEGAS FOR

LOW-STAKES COUNTERS

By LV21PRO

LV21Pro has been a card counter for over 30 years. With his winnings at blackjack, he was able to take early retirement from his 9-5 job and move to Vegas. He started his blackjack career as a low stakes player, then moved up to high stakes, and now in his "golden years" plays mostly at low to medium stakes.

First let me define what I mean by "low-stakes." I’m talking about a minimum bet of $25 or less. If you are a low stakes counter, there’s good news ‘cause there are plenty of decent games in and around Vegas where you can play with a respectable edge. I’ll review where these games are, and then give you some tips that I use to stay under the casino radar.

First off, don’t expect to find many good low-stakes games on the Strip. Yes, there are some, but the minimum bets on these games are usually $50/$100 and up. The best games for low stakes counters are located in the local’s casino.

Personally, I won’t sit and play unless the game has at least 60% penetration for double deck (that’s 1.2 decks dealt), and 75% (4.5 decks dealt) for six decks. I also won’t play a six-deck h17 game unless it has very deep penetration. Actually, I prefer to play double-deck games (but it must offer das).

The following list of casinos that offer decent games for low stakes counters is based on my playing experience and those of other counters who play in Vegas (yes, there is a network of counters who share info). The list of casinos and games is in no particular order....
